Hello, I’m back. It’s been almost three months since my last post. It’s been a very difficult three months, and I wanted to come here to briefly explain why.

I had to bid farewell to my 13-year-old mini schnauzer and best friend Isabelle at the end of last year. It was a sudden departure. She began to decline in mid-November and by December 19, she was gone. I can’t express how keenly her loss is felt in every room of our home. We miss her terribly and will probably miss her every day moving forward. I took off some time from blogging to grieve and heal, though I know from the loss of my other dog that these wounds never fully go away.

If you are reading this, thank you for being patient with me. I’ll be resuming blogging and creating more content for you guys moving forward.
